The new blofeld O.S. was released last night. V. 1.11 is available in the archive. The new O.S. is hot! sound is thicker and the O.S. feels very solid. Multimode is sick. The problem is that the download comes with no documentation, is only available as a midi file, and has this nasty habit of speeding up the arpeggio clock to an unusable speed. I also hear of some menu issues. I remember this kind of "F" up with the virus updates. I really thought better of these guys. Hope it gets fixed soon. Rolling Eyes

I've updated the firmware last night.
It seems like the muliti mode works and could be edited and saved now! Great!,
Are there any other improvement done from this new version?

Some people won't notice, but the sounds has been greatly improved as well. Loud and thick with new algorithms. I took a look at the saw waveform and it is nice and pretty with 3 peeks! I remember looking at the microq saw and it looked mushy and round like a sine-tri mix. The new manuals have been posted in the archive (probably in the DOCS). It doesn't say anything new tho. Just explains that a waveform can be used as a oscillator. I've heard someone say that they had some difficulties opening the pdf as well. Rolling Eyes

I havn't notified the improvement on saw waveform, but Waldorf did not officially announce all the change from the new firmware.

Great sounding when I used the new free Blofeld editor to create new sounds last night. That's quite big and beyond belief.

Been lent one and updated the firmware to 1.11 but it cant handle midi clock and sends everything relating midi clock into super speed mode. Smile

Back on 1.04 for now.

Unfortunately the V1.11 firmware featured some inconveniences.
Firmware V1.12 with following fixes is available for download:

- MIDI Clock reception fixed
- Program change reception fixed
- Convenient category selection in Multimode
- Storing in Multimode improved
- Upgrade Terminal application for OS X added

Mac users often reported about problems playing the MIDI file to Blofeld,
so we added this simple terminal application. Connect Blofeld via USB,
start UpdateBlofeld1_12 and don't fear the terminal.
