Edgar Winter's Frankenstein ARP2600

Here are an attempt to replicate Edgar Winter's Frankenstein ARP 2600 sound. This one seems to be very closer Smile

It uses filters fm with two environment and an oscillator set as an lfo. I've used this oscillator also as clock source for s&h with a clock divider to get a gate triggering closer to orginial one.

I really hear the very characterfull arp filter in this mp3..
before you get the sound 100% you probably have to emulate the arpfilter first..
not an easy task...but very valuable if somebody succeeds with that.
These arpfilters have these nice wet sound when the are going in resonance..
dont ask me what is causing this ..but by now i think allmost everything can be patched with the G2 aslong you know whats really going on and rebuild that.

One for sure.. the standard G2 filter is not sounding like an analog arp filter.

In fact i've caught some difficulties to do this patch due to ARP filter and its emulation.. btw, if you tell that my mp3 is very characterful it means that my efforts are worth Very Happy

I will try it out later that day, working on the Arp at school.

The above emulation is very nice as well, so tonight it's back to the g2.
