I do not know anything about bending but have repaired some synths built an arduinome (monome clone) as well as a few other things like a tv b gone. If any one can help me in any aspect of bending one what i need what to do i would be grateful. As well i would like to say hi i am new here and this seems like an awesome community through and through. thanks.

Hi..

Here are links the service and the owners manual.. The service manual should help you a great deal!
http://electro-music.com/forum/topic-11486.html
I've never bent the SK-1, not even seen one in real life, so I can't help you with that.. I do know that there is a tuning pot on the main board, so you could always bring that to the surface if you felt like it.. But have a look on youtube, there are some HEAVELY circuit bent ones around, which should give you an idea what it's possible to do with it.. I think the drums are analog, so have a look here what i accomplished with an analog drum keyboard..http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OKHwbYYCja8

Happy bending!

Well to be honest, the sk-1 is very easy to bend because there are lots of connections that do wacky things and wont fry the damn thing.

Just go for it. Open it up and poke around, you wont break nøthing. Just run it on batteries.

But, honestly, i think bent sk-1s are kinda boring in them selves. Most of the glitches just trip out the drum patterns (slightly)

But its a good start- research the casper electronics page on the sk-1. Included is all the details you need to bend up an sk-1.
