I think it would look really nice having a completly white keyboard on my Nord Lead 1. Does anyone know where I can order white "black" keys? Or maybe I have to spray-paint...

Search which Fatar keyboard the Lead is using and try with some help of your service man to get some from Italy. Beware to look at the codes (numbers or letters) on the key, near where the spring is attached.

I did the same with the pieces of my chess game, but it wasn't an overall success! Very Happy

Ha ha! Thanks for your answer. I will write Clavia and ask about the key models.

Just found out from Clavia (a quick response!) that the white keys could not be ordered separately, and the extra ones from the Anniversary model was needed as spare parts.

So, I guess I have to spray-paint my keys to get the look. Maybe that's a risky task. Anyone have experience of this? I need of course a paint that will be durable, and with the right "plastic" finish.

Well, Clavia is in need of the spare parts, so they don't deliver, so why not bying a reversed keyboard (via a service centre) directly from Fatar and change the keys? You'll have a complete black one too! You will be able to switch both from time to time, a good thing when you are playing in a band which does weddings and funerals Smile
What to think of one octave normal and the next one reversed and so on?
And what would be the effect of black/white/black/white etc.. (not that spectacular, I'm afraid)
Or just your favorite scale in white and the rest in black...

Just some idea's Very Happy
