I think I know the answer to the question, but, I'll ask it just in case someone has figured out a way to do it.

I understand you can't split the Wave keyboard to trigger two different sounds (which is quite unfortunate). In any case, what I'd like to do is to play a sound (slot A) from a separate keyboard while playing a second sound (slot B) from the Wave's keybed. I don't want the Wave's keyboard to trigger the slot A sound however!!!!

Is there a way to do this????

Thanks.

Uhh...

As I don't own a Wave, I'm certainly not sure about this, but...
In the NordLead all Slots (4 of them) will always react to incoming Midi signals, even when not active. I would make Slot A (set to Midi channel 1) active, so it reacts to the Wave's internal keyboard and I would set Slot B, which is not active (no LED llit) to Midi channel 2, on which the other controller is sending.

Let me know if this works, because I don't own...

Wout, you're a genius!!! Thank you. I had forgotten about this little detail about Nord synths!! Now, if I could only route each slot to a different audio output!! I don't think that's possible, is it? Wout???

I'm not sure. Maybe someone who is using the Wave could chime in?

BTW does the Midi thing mentioned in my post also works? I can't check it...

Wout,

The Wave must be set to Bi-Timbral mode first, and then what you suggested concerning the midi and slot assignment works just fine!!!
