I am the original (proud) owner of an expanded Nord Lead I. It was purchased in early 1997 and has a Main Board (inside) version of 1.2. Here's the weird problem: Bank A only outputs on the left channel. Bank B only on the right. Bank C is back to the left and bank D again on the right. This problem occurs whether using the stereo output jacks or the headphone jack. The problem does NOT seem to be effecting the Program patches.

The unit has never left my smoke free home studio and the problem seem to have just started one day out of the blue. I'm afraid that the Main board may be my problem.

Any input as to what might be going wrong or tricks to try would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

welcome js01bps

Any chance you switched to output mode 4?

Press [Shift+Slot B = Output] If it reads [4] use the up&down buttons to scroll to [1].

If not, something is broken...

Wout

Wout, you're AMAZING! It WAS in fact that simple! Here I was ready to search out and buy a new main board when it was just a setting that I screwed up. Thanks sooooo much! (I'm embarrased to say that it was like that for months!)

Maybe it would be handy to download the Manual Smile
