Subject description: just got my first Waldorf		 Reply with quote  Mark this post and the followings unread
This afternoon I was awaken by FedEx bringing the XT I scored on eBay last week. I am so excited, I wish I could call in sick to work tonight. While I am building my modular I thought it'd be nice to get some premade hands-on synth, and these in particular have always tempted me. The infamous orange is a lot darker than I expected based on the photos I'd seen, I like it.

Can anybody recommend specific OS versions to use or avoid? I wonder if the latest is the best, or if people prefer another.

Got to go get ready for work (and find an excuse to get out early!)

I bought my XT with the latest version already, and never have had any problems, so I can definitely recommend it.

It looks like mine shipped to me with the latest installed, I had to read about the various versions. I am really blown away by this thing.
