Hi all. Just added an Andromeda A6 to my collection of analog synths.
I love it. Very Happy
Now I have the ambition to use the A6 as a midi controller but I can t figutre out how to make it work properly.
It send midi out. Received by Logic 9. Received by AU. Zebra 2.5 and Blue were the latest I tried it with. But the knobs respond strange. Only once and for just a fraction of the range.
What could be the reason? Any expert that checked this thoroughly?
Can it be done or should I forget about this? Sad

The knobs don't sent out MIDI... they send out NRPN data (an expanded CC-type data range). Apparently there is a way to make it work with NRPN-to-MIDI converters or by using a host that understands NRPN (I think Cubase). Good luck.

Wow that is a quick reply!
What a pity. All these knobs would cover even a full blown Zebra patch. Crying or Very sad
I was already thinking it would be NRPN.
I noticed it in the global menu. NRPN on/Off
The only AU I know of that uses NRPN is the Novation Vstation.
Will have a try with that.

Thnaks for the tip on the converters.
