Hi all i am very new on this forum and too much data to learn everything with Nord .But i searched my problem and cant find it.Here is my problem;

1-DAW: "Synapse Audio Orion" www.synapse-audio.com (if you have a time to check my problem please get the demo its just 30 mb )

2-Sound Card:TC Electronic Konnekt24D

3-Hardware Synth:Nord Rack2X

I know that midi is not transferring sounds like audio.
But i know that there must be a way to work hardware synth "sounds" with DAW.I did very hard work to set up my connections but nothing solved yet.
I set up my Nord to DAW and exactly get Nord sounds from my sound card and write my presets to DAW,I can change presets,insert 2 or more midi tracks and work well ..But when i want to export my track to audio mixdown after i listened on winamp i cant hear my Nord sounds in my music Smile
Whats wrong with it?
Is it only recordable to DAW with audio track (wav) ?
Can i write my nord presets to DAW with out audio track ?

Please if you can write me a true connection of hardware synths with DAW.How can i use it?
Thank you.

Is the sound there yet?

Of course! The NordLead is a musical instrument which has to be played, at least using Midi

You haven't tried yet? Use Midi to trigger the notes etcetera and record this in your DAW using audio cables from the Lead into you sound card.

So:
Midi Out sound card to Midi In Lead (at least to control it);
Midi In sound card to Midi Out Lead, if you want to play the keys or turn the knobs.

Two (or four) audio cables (6.3 mm telephone jack) to the Audio In of the sound card.
The Lead can't be used to render, generate or what ever how sound is coming into the DAW. The Output isn't digital!

Ok thank you Wout,

Let me ask , is there no way to record and export my Nord sounds without
wave form.Because when i am recording a note to audio track ..think,i did mistake and i want to correct it on piano roll but i cannot because its not midi ? so play again again again find the correct.right ?

I don't know your DAW, but I assume it is able to record Midi which has to be visible in the piano roll where it can be corrected.
The NordLead can play Midi notes which are 'drawn' in the piano roll, but that's no audio. You have to record it first into your DAW system by playing the Midi piano roll and recording the Lead sound on an audio track.

Beware, you can use the Lead in combination with the DAW, but is wasn't designed for it! It's a performance synthesizer for on stage rather than a studio machine. But you can use it. See it as recording a vocalist. No cables can be plugged in... Smile
