G2X as a master keyboard

Greetings!

I would like to know how can you use the G2x as a master keyboard.
For instance : When I use the octave up and down buttons the sound changes on the G2 but if I try to play some samples of my software samples that are in the lower octave of a virtual keyboard it will not play when I switch on a lower octave on the G2X. Same thing happnes on my nord lead 3 too....
If some one knows a solution I would greatly appreciate it.

On the G2X panel, press Shift+Octave Shift to set the synth in Global Octave Shift mode.

This setting has an additional effect on the sound - in one mode, the octave switch will cause sustaining / decaying notes to jump to the new octave. In the other mode, sustaining / decaying notes do not change octaves when you select a new octave switch position, only new notes played after changing the octave switch are affected. This is handy even if you are only using the G2 by itself, for when you are playing long glissandos up & down the keyboard that go beyond the end of the physical keyboard and you want to extend the glissando by switching octaves - you don't want the decaying notes to change octaves, just the new notes.
