Hi, prompt please, about Nod wave..I want to change my NL3 on it.But i can't listen demo, because i need synth for tech house, techno..In official site and on youtube there is not demo of this styles. If somebody knows, can you give me links..I want the fresh sound and new functions, but i don't know, whether this synthesizer also well as NL sounds? Whether there was its sound to more plastic? In your opinion, what synth is better for this styles?
Thanks.

welcome Cyberpunk

This question is always hard to answer.
Will it be useful to the things I need...

One thing is important: you can use samples in the Wave, so if the sound isn't there in the synth part, you can import it using the sample part...
The filters would act as normal, so to obtain a sound to your needs is more within reach on a Wave rather than on a NL3.

You are using the NL3 already?
I would start to make samples (without the filters nor amp).

Wout

Hi, Wout! Tank you for your answer!
Yes, I'm using the NL3 already 2 years and I like this sound and I don't wish to lose it..NL3 has really userfriendly interface. But with nordwave I can to load samples and it has own effects...In your opinion, whether it is necessary to change?
Tanks.

I can't see your situation. In my case no synth will leave my studio, but when buying a Wave you'll surely want to keep your NL3 for a while to sample the most important sounds you made.

Maybe it's wise to search e-bay and other internet markets for a Wave? There are some people who are disappointed by it...

I would regret the change myself...
And I can't assure you you will be better of.
And how many you will you lose selling the NL3 (although I assume you bought it second hand already)

Wout
