This is probably basical nord lead question, but anyways..I wanted to check out peformance libraries from the clavia site.I have nord rack2 and PCMCIA car with my program banks on it. I loaded performance(through my sequencer), and that changed/replaced all my sounds in banks (I backed them up luckly, huh). So I wondered is there any way to preview performance without have to buy another pcmcia card?
thanks

Must say that I don't know ... but maybe the NordGen program can do it? http://electro-music.com/forum/topic-29446.html has some more about that.

It’s a hard thing to do…
You have to use the PCMCIA card because the file on the Clavia site is in Midi [*.mid]
Using the sequencer again you can download the file as a single Midi or SysEx file (using [Shift+DumpOne] to be renamed and able to upload again.
Perhaps somebody could make a tool which does this in one go.

Always backup the synths memory Smile

In fact, more Slot sounds is just a part of the Performance mode. This mode is capable of saving Layers, but it really is a special mode to be used when playing live on stage...
