Hello,

After repair my s1mk2 I have problems with the midi.

I mean that it holds the first note , and i need to reset from the keyboard.

I remember that it happens to me before, but now seems much more. Its not possible to play anything.

I updated to the 5.0 firmware correctly without results.

Any of you have or had problems with the MIDI in his S1mk2? Is there a solution?

Thanks.

I reinstalled again the firmware 5.0 and seems better but still sometimes seems that do not receive the "note off " order.

What a great synthesizer.

If any of you could contact me with experience regarding this issue i will be very grateful.

Maybe any of you have older firmware releases and they are working correctly?

Thanks.

Very Happy

Seems that was the cable! was 4m long, maybe was this. I have made a new cable according this article http://www.harmony-central.com/MIDI/midi-cable.txt and it is working.

Regards.

Ah yes, that makes sense, a lot of MIDI cables are not up to specs indeed.

Hello,

Seems that the cable improved the issue but still I have problems.

Seems that the S1 not always receives the note-off message.

For example if from the DAW in a 4/4 time signature I draw four quarter note(crotchet), the S1 will hold the first note when finished the four beats.

I have to solve this drawing eighth notes (quaver), so in this way the S1 receives the note-off message.

Its the same if I play fast in the keyboard, sometimes a note is hold.

So my question is: is this an issue of the S1 or only happens in mine. Do you have experimented this?

If not I will open my S1 again. Please let me know.
