As far as I know, this is still the only sequencer app that lets you import your own samples (eg. that cool riff you created on bleep!Box, that burbly noise you patched on Jasuto, etc.) and is the closest thing the iPhone has to an Ableton Live app.

I have this and enjoy it. If you are an Akai MPC user, this one is based on the same kind of logic, so it is like having a very portable MPC in your pocket.

I was looking at this app recently and the price tag kind of turned me off. Since I'm mostly a dabbler, $20USD seemed excessive.

Then, this morning while I was syncing up my iPhone and removing some of the many free games I've downloaded from FreeAppADay.com (a great way to get new free games and apps BTW), I noticed Beatbox was in the list of stuff on my Mac. I thought WTF!? I didn't remember purchasing it! And sure enough, I had it. I either bought it when I was drunk, or so long ago I forgot. LOL Very Happy

I've not played with it yet but at this rate, if I can peel myself away from Looptastic Producer I might do so this weekend.
