As much that I love my Nord Wave, there is one feature that I miss tough that is standard in other Nord Leads; it's multitimbral.

There is two slots in the Nord Wave, both slots are connected to one midi channel; is that right?

Just to be sure, there is no way to link one midi channel to a slot and another to the second slot?

Thanks!

The Nordwave is bi-timbral.

Slots A and B can be assigned to different midi channels. Hold shift and press slot b to enter the midi menu, set midichannel to BiTimbral, set control slot 1 to midi channel 1, set control slot b to midi channal 2.

Turn local on or off depending on what you are doing. If you are seqencing both slots and want to transpose or modulate them at the same time leave locale on. if you want to sequence 1 slot and play a lead line on the other, turn local off.

Hope this helps.
