To change banks on a Nord Lead, just scroll past the last preset in the bank you are in... If you have a Nord Lead 1, you need a memory card - and the update that allows for this - for any extra banks, if memory serves me. The original Nord Lead still has 40 (?) single memory locations though.
Does that answers your question... ? _________________ Muied Lumens Sub Forum

I never used nuendo. Sounds like a game machine to me… | Quote: | | im reading the manual but its hard to understand at first... | About the NordLead, better set the Global Midi to channel 16. [Shift+(2x)Midi=G.16]
NordGen can be used to upload sounds into the synth.
Mostly a sequencer can send SysEx too, but I don’t know how this works in Nuendo…
Normally one has to import the SysEx into the Midi track before the Midi notes will play. I never used this option.

Yes you can download banks, in sysex ("system exclusive") format. They have to be compatible with the Nord Lead 2 and when you load them over MIDI they are permanently saved on the Nord Lead. You can't preview Nord patches in Nuendo, they have to be loaded into the Nord. (Actually you can, with the Disco DSP Discovery plug-in but that's an other story...)
Just to be sure there are no misunderstandings: You can't load Nord Wave sounds/samples into the Nord Lead.
A sysex file can be sent to your Nord from a computer. You hook up the computer MIDI out to Nord MIDI in. That's all you need to load sysex into the Nord Lead. I don't have Nuendo, but the basic procedure is: load up the sysex file on a MIDI track and play it into the Nord.
When you do this, you lose the sounds that are overwritten!
Hope that makes it clearer.
Let me know how you get along...
Edit; I see Wout got there before me _________________ Muied Lumens Sub Forum

Just don't do that! Upload only single files into the synth. The Archive at http://nm-archives.electro-music.com/020_NordLead2/021_Patches/ only contains folders filled with single files (=Programs) Using NordGen it's rather simple.
Now it's important what Lead you are using: Lead(1), Lead2 or Lead2X?
Anyway, whatever you'll do: first make a download to the computer of all the internal memory!
Looks complicated? It is, but beware: the NordLead is almost 16 years in production now!!! It's a classic and a relic
