S&H/Noise module - S&H not so functional anymore

This too bizarre for my limited skill. I'm going to find someone who does modular synth repairs. I'll let you know how that goes.

One module had a broken connection to the power distribution board.

The other module's internal noise circuit was so loud is was overloading the... op amp? or something, I dunno, but it was too much for the circuit to handle.

Both modules had resistors added to them so that it the LED would function properly.

Both modules' noise levels were adjusted to be appropriate for recording or whatever.

Hi Argitoth.

Probably are you using some kind of very bright LED though, the cicrcuit was designed for plain low consumption LEDs.
Your problems seemed to come from the fact you add a too efficient noise transistor that would over-polarize the FET transistor of the S&H.
