Sloved the gate with another env with gate like settings and a switch between regular env and gate env.
still wonder if its possible to make the portamento act like the one on the sh.

Sounds like you want the portamento to never jump? If so just disconnect that jmp wire - or route it through a switch to make it configurable.
Re. the amp gate ... could put a VCA after the gate that is either controlled by the envelope or by the gate itself?
Not sure I understood the issues correctly. _________________ Jan

Hi,
Got the jump thing while playing with the patch. not exectly the way the real sh works but you cant get everthing i guess.
One thing though, when i connect the portamento to the pitch, the pitch goes down about 3semitones i think for some reason. is that normal?
the input on the osc is fully open.

I don't know much about the classic but, if you feed a note value through a portamento, then patch that to a pitch input of a master oscillator, the KBT should be turned off. The pitch mod input should also be at 100%
I think the Keyboard1 module in the patch is surplus to requirements, just use the Patch Gate signal for the ADSR as well (unless you want multi-trigger?).
The SH101 had the two glide modes, so a switch before the Jmp input should allow for the normal glide mode.
The G2 has 'built in' portamento(Glide) settings, including an auto (sometimes called legato or fingered) mode. |
