Anyone here with an Arp 1601 sequencer? |

If someone here owns an Arp 1601 sequencer it would be nice if you could test the following:
1. Set all Position Gate Assignment (PGA) switches to bus 2
2. Connect bus 1 with the Step input
3. Connect bus 3 with the Reset input
4. Set the mode to 2x8
5. Switch one of the PGA switches to bus 1 or 3 while another step is active.
Does the sequencer step or reset directly or only when the changed step has been reached? |

If I switch a gate to bus 3, it resets the sequencer. If I switch gate 5 to bus 3, the sequencer runs 1-4, 1-4
If I switch a gate to bus 1, it simply skips that step. If I switch gate 5 to bus 1, the sequencer runs 1-4, 6-8, 1-4, 6-8
In other words, the action is taken when the selected gate would have occurred.
