why 12?
build 12, sell 11.
build 3 quad units, with master/slave selectors?

12 just give you more options Very Happy

Matthias,

I've decided to raise my order to 6 boards.

3 boards should fit behind a 2U MOTM panel quite nicely in Master Clock mode.

Regards

Magman

well, you can't never get enough of these imo,but the board is so small,i can't immagine me to hook 4 behind a panel Sad too much hassle.

All the connectors take more room as the circuit on itself
I would have buyed a few if they where quads.

I think i gonna redraw this one ,quad on one pcb.

i understand your concerns and objections. however, the connectors are there to make wiring easier. wrong wiring is a common source for not-working modules, i believe. all the more when the builder is not that experienced...

why 12 ?
as mathias said more options Smile I can see many uses and as usual they will all probably end up with some modifications eventually
certainly won't be selling any though

I use a fairly large panel format so lots of room for multiples
and i don't mind wiring up as much as i do drilling lots of panels
so will be a mix of quad and dual panels

Hi all,

what about wiring up a switch to the clock-out to obtain a start/stop function?

And a little 5V cirquit wired to the same switch (dpst) and an additional jack to start the MFOS 16-step sequencer...

Wink

Best regards
Greg

why not? an on-off-on switch for the slave modules: self - off - slave, and an on-off switch for the master module: on - off.

i put wirepads and a jumper to the board, so one could decide how to connect the clocks with the comparators.
