Subject description: how to change pots values ?

Hi !
I'm looking for building a little and cheapy sequencer. So i was looking at the voice of saturn's one, or the mfos 10 steps ones.

Both of them are using 100k pots for each step, in order to control the voltage amount sent for each step.

I've got a huge stock of 50k pots, linears ones.

-> My question is : Could i use these 50 pots instead of 100k ones ? If i do that, the amount of current voltages will be the same, but i'll get a smaller "curse" ? What should i modify, if i need to modify something ??

Thanks for any response, explanation..
cordially

Yes, you can use the 50k pots. There's only a fraction of a milli Ampere going through the pots, so the difference in current from 100k to 50k (a doubling) is nothing to worry about.
