I was working with Guitar Rig 3 - trying to a good wash sound to support my Chapman Stick playing. Eventually came up with the sound on this recording. It's solo Chapman Stick played/recorded live thru this GR3 patch called Ambient Stick Pad. It's crrently up at the Native Instruments site in the guitar Rig library.

Of course listening to this you can't tell there is a Chapman Stick playing. (That might be a good thing Laughing

) Later versions of the patch had a blend control so I could bring more of the clean Stick sound thru...that can be heard on the NYE 2010-2011 track elsewhere on the forum.

That particular patch is very forgiving...probably could run a recording of a lawn mower thru it and get something interesting out... Hmmm...
