Arctic Keys synth app

I'm always searching for the 'ultimate' synth app it seems. When Arctic became available I bought it (really, these app prices are so low, why not?) and started playing around with it. It's by One Red Dog Media who also does the Molten Drum Machine App. It's a somewhat basic synth app that does provide background audio and recognizes virtual midi ports...which is cool. Plus a built in 4-part sequencer which is pretty cool. Only issue with it is that it will play 4 parts - on the same patch. So it doesn't seem to be multi-timbral. The keyboard can be slid left or right to access different areas. It also has a 'pitch' mode that allows you to select a note and then you can slide your finger around and control the pitch and another parameter (like a filters cutoff)...pretty cool. Not a bad initial soundbank included. I think the oscillator section could use a few more options like octave settings for both oscillators, not just osc 2.

It will be interesting to see where they take this to in future updates.
