The definite definition of office music: Office is a genre which is defined by its very strict guidelines, which are so strict, in fact, that nothing is allowed in this genre whatsoever. No beats, no notes, no silence or sound at all. Because of these limitations it is impossible to make any music without breaking the rules. Ultimately this means that anything goes, really.
Disclaimer: Office music has nothing to do with the office where work happens to go on (or not), it is just a handy description of the genre. Also, the moment more than a handful or so of people recognise the genre, it does, by definition, cease to exist.

Heheh, well, I don't dislike them, although I never really felt at home there either... The original concept was very different from what came out though, and I have never been very good at following an idea through to completion. The 'Monday' track is strictly speaking not an Office track, regardless of the sounds added on to justify it as such... maybe it can be considered a comment on the genre of Office, and a reaction to it, even if there are not yet any other tracks in this genre (not the office environment (not to be confused with the genre of Office Envirunmental) but the (not to be confused with the building) Office (not to be confused with) music).
