Couldn't you add a 1M fixed from the wiper to each end of the pot, thus putting a 'hump' in it's response? Or are we looking at the reverse effect here? Just an idea.

what we wanted was a log response from 0 to CW and antilog from CCW to 0. so for a 100k we would use 1M on one end, and 10k on the other!? (late at night and i cannot get it straight in my head).
