T.Henry VCO1 goodness |
 |
|
Just powered up my Thomas Henry VCO1,works great.
Here is a pic of the front panel...
Here is the triangle wave...
The pulse wave....
And the almighty sine, after a lil tweaking...
Here is the T Henry sine on top & my function gennys on the bottom..
I still need to get it mounted to its back plate & then epoxie the tempco & matched transistors (expo pair)together before I tune it up for equal temper... :
...also have a MFOS calibrator that is almost assembled ,to aid in that processs. _________________ "It's nice 2 B important; but it's important 2 B nice"

Actually out of all my VCO's (ans there are a LOT) I think that the VCO1 still has the sweetest sinewave of them all... |

hi i just breadboarded a VCO-1, and using thomas henry 15volt powersupply i just finished to power it up.
the vco it seems to work, but the only thing is that, when i increase the pulsewith the pitch also seems to go a little bit up
along with the pulsewith, does this happen to you guys also ?
the pitch drops almost a semitone from almost full left to almost fully right
on the pw knob.
btw i don´t have a tempco in the VCO-1 yet im waiting for it to arrive
but don´t think this should affect this problem,(in fact it track quite well without the tempco)
thanks kind regards

I don't have my VCO online,as I have yet to build a new power supply ,for my modular. If its still on a bread board ,with no tempco, the heat of your body ,could well change the pitch as you adjust it. _________________ "It's nice 2 B important; but it's important 2 B nice"
