Are there different 'styles' of Shadows out there?

For example, on the web I found 2 photos of what I think are Shadows.

One of them has concentric circles painted on the front, and one does not.

What do you think?

thx

The XT shadow was a limited run of 666 units.
the top picture is most likely a Beta or engineering sample. The case knobs/encoders are cut differently.
In any case, there was only one official run of "Shadows" and a black XT as in the first picture would not have the same value unless you are into collecting Betas.
This may also be run of the flat case for a Microwave 2, before Waldorf found out the demand was not too high for a Black XT due to the lack of demand - Hence the run of "Shadow" XTs being limited. Most people equated the sound of the XT to the Orange color and that is part of what helped the Orage XT sell so well. I could be wrong, but this seems to be what happened.
