Hello all,

I want to reset the clock generator by sending it a pulse coming out of the Midi controller receive module, but that doesn't seem to work....

The idea is to reset/restart a sequencer in the G2 by sending a controller change coming from a sequence in my Octatrack.

Anyone can shine his or her light on this? Much appreciated!

Yves

Are you sending the same controller value each time?

I've never used this feature, but in the help pages it states:
Quote:
Rcv output

Every time a new MIDI CC value is received on the selected CC# and MIDI channel, a high logic pulse is output from the Rcv output. This signal can be used to trig different events in the Patch, for example from external button parameters.

Italics added. Maybe that's the issue.

Hi Tim,

I've tried with different cc values on different steps, indeed to make sure i had different incoming values, but unfortunately that didn't help. Strange but frustrating.

Thanks for chiming in.

Problem solved. The clock is too fast, so i can't really reset it. The trick is to reset the sequencer in the G2, not the clock. Works like a charm!
