i cannot get it to work with roland sh2 vst synth. i want to scroll through lfo types for instance using button press, but it wont work! anyone got experience with cc editing that can help? remote 25 has 4 options for its buttons; normal, momentary, toggle and step

I can't find the MIDI CC map for the SH2 plugout. However, I found one for System 1, which hopefully sets the standard for the CC mapping for the plugouts as well.

System has LFO type at CC 35, so assuming it's the same, you'd use that and then the "Step" button function, specifying the low value, high value and step value.

The SH2 has 5 LFO types (waveforms). If those types are at values 0-4, things are easy: set LowVal = 0, HighVal = 4 and StepVal = 1. If the selections are spread out over the CC value range, as it sometimes is, you'll have to see if it works out (that is, if you can make the step function land at values within the range of each selection). If you have the CC spec for SH2, it would help.

i experimented and discovered that a min value of 0, max of 100 with step size of 25 works perfectly for the 5 step lfo button. i doubt i would've worked this out without your help. thank you!
