Hi !
I'm totally new to ChucK, so I'm just trying some few simple code lines...
But I have a crazy but really simple problem : I can't type the } character !
It's with a french keyboard, and it works on every other software with the keys "alt gr" + "="
I have to copy paste it from another software, that is, you'll admit it, not really simple !!

Has anyone encountered this problem already ? Are there shortcuts that could interfere with it ?
Thanks

Etienne

Yes I tried this, but with no success...
In fact what is really strange, is that it's only with ChucK...
So it's might not be a keyboard problem, but rather a ChucK problem ??

Thank you anyway !

No more success with it...

But I just figured out that it works when I type alt+0125
So I guess it's a weird bug in my keyboard ????

If anyone has another clue I would be happy !! Smile Smile

Hey Etienne!

I assume you're using MiniAudicle - if it's not to big of a problem you can edit the ChucK source using another text editor like notepad++.

Anyway, looking at similar problems on the internet I think this is a bug in MiniAudicle. If you like you could subscribe to the chuck mailing list and post this there:

https://lists.cs.princeton.edu/mailman/listinfo/chuck-users

Then possibly one of the guys working with development of ChucK can pick this up and fix it.

Thank you for your reply ! Smile
Yes I will post a new issue, and hope for someone to look at it...
But now I'm very fast at typing alt+0125, so I guess I can go on Smile Smile Smile

Hehe alt+0125 sounds a bit cumbersome, but whatever works for you. Smile
