On Saturday Feb 10, 2018, we heard of the passing of Stefan, Antimon. It was quite a sad shock. Antimon was a significant presence in the electro-music community. He was a fantastic musician. He participated in many of our live streaming events. He was very active on the electro-music chat room. He was always supportive and encouraging; helping many people get started in making electronic music. We will miss him greatly.

Bill and I, Twyndyllyngs, dedicated our performance last night to Antimon. We could hardly think of anything else in the moment.

Tonight's Chez Mosc features Bill Fox and myself again. This time we carefully set up a limiter on the stream, so there were no overloads causing distortion.

I'm pretty happy with this show. There was quite a bit of sequencer stuff (for us). This can end up being an old cliche, but I hope we came up with a fresh look at this.

Yes, thanks so much. It turns out that the difficulty we were having streaming and recording was caused by our upgrading to Shoutcast version 2 on the electro-music.com server. The streaming software for the PC, Butt, had to be upgraded to version 0.1.16. Now things are good again.

Thank you Phobos for recording this program. The first two tracks are wonderful. I'm glad everyone liked my set. As for the third track, I just want to remind everyone that I like tomatoes fresh, usually with lettuce and carrots,...and no e-coli.

Bill, that 3D-printed ocarina was truly haunting. Kudos to Les Hall for printing it. Your radio and guitar work were also spot-on.

I'm already working on a remix version of this. Mosc, I hope you don't mind it if I use your introduction in the beginning (it will be edited for accuracy and brevity).

I took elements from my performances at Eeeem18 and Chez Mosc and mixed them with a drum track titled "Forensic". Hence the name "Forensic Pathology".

It's been a while since we posted a set. I switched my main computer from a PC to a Mac and we have been getting a lot of noise on our recordings. It's probably my fault not knowing the tricks of MacOS, or maybe my MacMini doesn't work well with the tools I'm using. Anyway, I switched back to a Windows 10 machine and last night we got a pretty good recording.

We had a good time playing despite both Bill and I having some technical problems during the performance. Learning how to keep going when funny things start happening is a big part of live electronic music performance. There are a few clicks, pops and thunks in this set, but we left them in because, well, it's live music. We improvise all the way through.

Last night, November 3, 2018, we had a fun time. This set has a lot of variation; from ambient to blues, rock, and strange noises. I was using my little Eurorack modular system, mostly based around the Make Noise Morphogene. The samples were taken from an iOS app called STREEMUR which were sampled just before we started playing. I used to get samples like this from a shortwave receiver, but these days shortwave broadcast stations are few and far between. Internet radio is the way to go these days.

FYI. I use a streamripper (not a recorder) to prevent any loss in quality and I always try to start and stop between the talking.
But sometimes I am a occupied with something else so that's why there is still a bit at the end this time. I could edit it but that
would mean re-encoding the file. I do have a program to edit mp3's directly but it's a demo version and I can only use it a limited
number of times.
