Hi to everyone,

When working with external midi clock from a DAW or from an hardware sequencer like Elektron A4 my Evolver desktop sequencer after some minutes loses the clock and start playing out of midi clock its just a small diference but its there.

Do you guys have the same problem or have any idea.
Thanks in advance.

With midi clock midi jitter adds up. This is a quite strong effect especially with most usb based interfaces that have a jitter of 1ms. And quite normal. I don‘t see it as obviously when using my digitakt as clock, so either the a4 has worse timing, or it is on the input of the evolver (or something else).

I solve it by using note ons as clock (or directly as triggers). Another solution I use (that won‘t help you either) is using ableton link. If it is not the evolvers input jitter (which would be bad), you can get a precise master clock, which will improve the situation.
