Newbie question: is there a way to control the freq input on Osc1 via MIDI? Do I have to convert the MIDI notes to another form?

TIA!!!

Hello and welcome to the forum Steve G.

Yes, there are ways to MIDI control things.

Use one of the Midi note input modules (from the I/O tab), set it's channel to your likings, and connect (one of) it's note output(s) to the freq input of an oscillator, or use the FM input but then fully open up the `FM level control.

Additinally, you can use the velocity-on output to control a level, and you can trigger an envelope module from the Gate output.

see [ https://bluehell.nl/wren/modules.html#1301 ] to decide on what Midi note input module to use.

NB. select a module in a patch and then hit F1 to get the same sort of information locally - instead of looking it up on my web site.
