Hi all

Now that the Polyend / Dreadbox Medusa is discontinued, I would really like to grab one before they are gone...

But was wondering, since they dropped the price so much for the latest limited black edition, is there any difference when it comes to the hardware of this one and the previous versions?

I much prefer the looks of it, with the more minimalistic labelling, but if other units have better built quality, it could be worth trying to get one of those instead...

Does anyone here knows if there is a difference?

I’m looking at getting one as well, as far as I can work out the hardware should be exactly the same.

That's the info I got so far as well...

Seems that, despite they dropped the price, they didn't really went for different parts that were cheaper, which is nice...

Still on the fence here!

No, not yet...

Still waiting to get some stuff fixed, and since Thomann is waiting for them at the moment, haven't done that yet...

The only thing that left me a bit disappointed was seeing some pretty bad comments regarding their support on a Polyend Seq post in Gearspace, but I don't think it's to expect any further updates on this one, so...

I just think I will likely end up getting one soon, with the new OS and the 6 voice FM synth, it seems to be even more interesting! Smile
But just as a mono synth it seemed it could be worth it already.

Well, most of those complainers on that site would complain about anything!

The only thing from polyend I have is the tracker, the continuing support for that has been fantastic which is why I thought of getting the Medusa.

Money is short though at the moment and the problem is I also want a Zoia, decisions, desisions!
