Hello,
can someone tell me if I should use a +/- 12V PCB version for C8 220pf or 270pf?
Everywhere is 220pf, with the 12V and 15V version, why is 270pf given as an alternative, isn't it for 12V?

Second question: Can I also use the L7912 and L7812 with 1Ampere instead of the 78L12 and 79L12?

Third question: Can I also use B50K potentiometers for Fine Tune and Coarse Tune, unfortunately I don't have that much B22K!

Thank you in advance

Greetings Maik

I would go with at least 270pF, possibly even slightly higher. This will allow the VCO to go a bit lower and give (imo) a more usable range to the coarse tune. Take a look at the other VCO range thread.

As for the larger regulators, yes that is fine. I've actually done just that in a pinch once and had no issues.

50K should work fine as it is being used as a voltage divider. If you go too high eventually you can run into issues with non-linearity, especially if what the pot is connected to is loaded, but it's probably negligible in this case as what the pot is connected to is very high impedance (not much load), and is being used as a voltage divider. Nothing you really need to concern yourself over.
