Got an old soundcraft spirit folio racpac. In terms of specs it's exactly what I wanted so I took a risk on an untested unit.
When it arrived I plugged it in, it powered up, and all the channels and sends seemed to be working, Awesome!
But then... magic smoke started coming out of the 1/4 inch jacks on the back.
Rolling Eyes

So I opened it up and wouldn't you know it... two obviously bad capacitors.
Easy replacement I think Very Happy

As I'm desoldering the capacitors I make a rookie mistake and pulled a trace clean off the pcb... Embarassed

So I put two new caps with the same rating and soldered a little wire to remake the connection between the capacitor and the transistor that got decoupled.

I'm not happy about this but everything looks okay, the connections appear to match the schematic so I think it's janky but sufficient.

Well I power it up and and makes a weird startup sound but I have audio coming out so maybe it's all good!

no. After a few seconds it starts making a scary sound and now I'm beyond the limit of my newbie level of electronics/repair knowledge.

Anyone know what makes this sound?
I know this is hard when you can't get your hands on the mixer yourself so I'll take any help or beratement I can get.

Here's the audio. After powering up the audio is playing as expected... until it's interrupted by a weird rising and falling sound. The sound stops when I unplug the mixer.
