The synthesised 'Funky drummer'

Hello everyone,

I recently posted a patch on the Nord discussion forum, which I am told is pretty good, so I thought I'd also post it here for those of you who don't visit the forum. It does sound good on it's own and is definitely recognizable, but when compared to the original audio, some parts are noticably different.

I also issued a challenge for anybody to get this patch closer sounding to the original break, which is attached to the original post - "MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: the funky drummer on a G2?". Basically, as I am quite new to this, I am sure that some of you must be able to improve on this patch although I haven't had any sucessfull takers yet! See original post for more details.

Also, the drum sounds were taken from my 'drum machine' patches that are also posted in this drum section, if you're interested.

Timing adjustments for the hats and snares, improved bass drum sound and several other minor tweaks. A slight, but noticable improvement.

First of all love the patch Smile

in fact so much so i missed there was updated patch versions, i was fiddling with the patch a bit.. Tweaked almost every module, and added some very few Very Happy

i certainly enjoyed tweaking it

master piece, always boes my mind when i come along it. sounds real. realistic and an interesting attempt to modular sound design.. like painting..
