After another hiatus of a few weeks Bill and I were back with another steaming radio show. This time we were thrown a curve by our friends at Moog who seem to have removed our favorite app, Anamoog, from the Appleverse. So what? Well unless you have the latest version of Anamoog, you can not transfer your patches to Anamoog Z, the newest version. Somehow we managed to sort things out before we started playing but a few minutes into the set Bill's stream conked out! So this performance is a bit shorter than usual. It seems the technology gods are driving us to use simpler and simpler instrumentation, and in some respects, simpler music.
Anyhow, this set is quite different, IMHO. We hope you enjoy it.

Perception is such a delicate, subjective thing which changes with circumstances. While performing these concerts, I am filled with self-doubt and self-editing. Listening to the playback, I am thoroughly entertained. I find these to be quite enjoyable as a listener. I also find that when I play with abandon, I enjoy myself much more. If only I could learn how to get into that headspace on demand...

2022-07-09 Chez Mosc Recording |

It's been a long while since I've been able to post a Twyndyllyngs set live stream from the Chez Mosc program. The reasons numerous and unimportant.
Here's the set from last night. Again, Bill was in Pennsylvania and I was in North Carolina. The technical aspects worked pretty well for a change thanks in part to Blue Hell helping me get the levels right. Thats critical for the stream and and recording.
This virtually a straight recording for the live set. I didn't adjust the levels, but I did edit out one tiny drop out.
We hope you enjoy it.

Despite the late start due to technical difficulties, I think the set was marvelous. Of course, I may be biased!
On a different topic, listening to the recording, I couldn't help but notice the lack of background noise. Imagine two separate rigs separated by nearly 500 miles in two different states being so quiet!

Nice job on the mix, Howard. Compressing a Twyndyllyngs mix ala modern pop music would be illegal in the lower 48, I would think. |
