I've been working on this new Polysynth for the last few months. I was just wondering if it would be possible to build a bi-timbral analogue Polysynth like a Jupiter 8 but with more voices. So based on the original PolyKit by JKB (Jan Knipper) and my PolyKit DUO spinoff I came up with the PolyKit 16. It uses 6 Pi Pico clones to generate the 32 DCOs, gates, control voltages and velocities. And a Teensy 4.1 driving dual 12bit DACs for the synth control voltages for ADSR etc. the PolyKit DUO was mono-timbral but 6 voice poly. So I have been busy rewriting the software to support the bi-timbral functionality.

And so it's sort of finished, just some software tweeks to make.

Looks hot! Old style push buttons and potentiometers

I guess it is a real attractor and makes you play with it all the time.

I wish I had the time to do this too. My job deters me more and more from creating my own electronics ... Embarassed
