Hey everyone — it’s that time again! The September Equinox is almost here, and with it comes another electro-music.com streaming event. Let’s come together once more to share music, ideas, and creativity with friends across the globe.

Time: Starting around 15:00 GMT and continuing until the music stops or the roster runs out (whichever comes first!)

A Note to All Performers

Whether you’re a longtime regular, a first-time participant, or someone who hasn’t played with us in a while, you’re warmly invited back. Dust off your gear, fire up your DAW, create some patches, and come be part of a truly international celebration of sound.

Please review the Electro Music Copyright Policy

Please note: "Preferred Start Time". We will do the best that we can to accommodate people to their requested times. However, please be flexible because this event will have European and American musicians in many different time zones. Time slots will be on a semi-"first come-first served" basis. Furthermore, please post your time in GMT. The handy clock should make it simple. However, we do use military/24 hour time. It will undoubtedly be an international event and GMT is the only way to coordinate such events.

As in the past, the chat room will serve as an invaluable communication tool for set up, streaming, and connecting to those listening....and it's just a lot of silly fun! I suggest participants get familiar with it in advance, if you aren't already.

If you want a recording of your set, it would be prudent to record your own set, rather than depend on others. Accidents and mistakes happen...especially in this format. There are many ways to record your set, either thru the stream app or record your stream from your mixer on the signal path to the computer.

Performers MUST stream at 128 kbps, 44.1 kHz , stereo.

It is IMPERATIVE that everyone test their connections before we start streaming. At least 24 hours before but sooner is preferred. Sorry, but we can not guarantee that musicians will be allowed to stream if you do not test 24 hours before hand. Not only does it delay the schedule, but causes unneeded stress on performer, server operator, and audience during performance time. Join the chat room for testing and help setting up.

Ah it is on - or as Frisians say : it giet oan - and on a date I had kept free.

However .. things may change .. I may not be at home ... but Ill try to have a 'portable studio' in that case Very Happy

My signup will have to wait a bit though, and I may not be able to perform swiching - will have to see.

But I do already have a suitable headphone setup for then Cool

Only thing was that the schedule and the posters had not been set - just did that - thanks shugo - it is something different - nice Exclamation

For setting the schedule and the posters see : https://www.electro-music.com/~janpunter/set_schedule.php .. or in general for the streaming related tools https://www.electro-music.com/~janpunter/stream_ops.php - you will need be logged in a a stream operator to be able to access these.

Turns out that I'll be around after all, and I can do a half hour set at a time fitting the schedule.

And being around, I'll also be able to do some switching.

Ah, and the moon should still be set for Dave - will fix that too [this can be done on the switcher page trough the edit butten for the port concerned]

edit: Ow .. it is huuge .. will first have to reduce it to say .. 800 px wide.
