New Nord Modular G1 Editor |
 |
|
I'm unsure if this forum is really used anymore - but I'm almost finished a new Nord Modular Editor that runs on web tech - so theoretically will run on most devices (and have some considerable longevity!) I'm a product designer, not a developer - but i've used LLM's to refactor Nomad code and this iteration is now mostly in Javascript with some new (and old) features.
I have some bugs to squash and extra features to add that i'm quite excited about but I'm working away at it. If any web developers would be keen to discuss how to speed this up a little bit that would be great - otherwise i'll update when it's done in the next weeks. |

You might be making it being used .. again ..
although there is the occasional message still here about the Classic ...
Anyway I'd be interested to be able to run an NM Classic editor on the mac .. so .. this is great news _________________ Jan

Im building this on Mac and it's certainly working. My biggest issues just now are drawing the modules correctly and some sysex weirdness but ultimately you can load and edit patches without issue. I'll keep updates regular as I know this is an itch that certainly needs scratched for many.
Saying this, the modules are drawn - just not to the quality I'd like. |

modules are rendering nicely - just a few small issues (whilst we could live without fixing them - i want to get it done).
I will do some tests on my android phone this week also - i'm curious... |

| wanted to share that whilst definitely not optimised for touch screens - this works perfectly fine on android devices. Once it's solid for desktop AND there is enough desire for it - ill optimise it for touchscreens and smaller screens generally. |
