I'm wondering if it would be possible to add a feature whereby you can mark a forum section as "monitored", so that any new messages in it will give you an e-mail notification?

Well, actually I'm not wondering if it is possible since it is. Rather I wonder if somebody (probably mosc) would see it as a worthwile additional development Smile

But that is only for already existing and specific threads, right?

Yes, that it possible, but I have to install some software mods. That's won't be possible for some time due to my scheduling constraints. The way to work around that is to subscribe to an RSS feed for the forums you want and than either use an RSS reader or Thunderbird. That will keep you up-to-date with whatever forums you wish.

It is hot and very humid here too. Most homes are air conditioned here though so it's not too horrible.

We've had around 30 deg C (86 deg F) in the shadow for a large portion of the last week at least. It's not that bad today with only 25 deg C (77 deg F). Inside my apartment there's been upto 33 deg C (91.5 deg F).

It may not sound like much, but I'm not built for this kind of heat Very Happy I consider around 15-18 deg C (59-64.4 deg F) to be an ideal comfort temperature. Private homes in Norway usually have no air conditioning, so we'll just have to ride it out...

I must have asked this before, but where exactly are you from in Norway? In 2003 my wife and I had a wonderful vacation there.

I have gathered that you have been in Trondheim. It is unarguably a very nice place. My fathers family are from there, and I spent much time there when I was little. I'm born is Oslo though and here I still live - It's not so bad Smile

I've been near Philadelphia outside Washington DC - not too far from you?

We have a friend in Oslo we stayed with for several days. We had a great visit. Very beautiful. We went up to the Olympic ski jump site at sunset.

Posted Image, might have been reduced in size. Click Image to view fullscreen.

We also saw The Scream only a few months before it was stolen. The Viking Museum was really cool, as was the Kon Tiki and the Fram. Cool

My pictures are here. http://mosc.com/Slides/Sept-2003-trip/

I live to the north of Philadelphia, but I can get to DC in just about 3 hours - Philly in 1 and New York in 2 - depends on the time of day.
