We now have over 1800 registered members. To me this is amazing. Thanks to everyone who participates here for making electro-music.com something so many people feel is something of value.

The members here are very impressive. If you have never done so, click on the membership menu item on the upper-right of any forum page. Many people have added links to their web pages. Check these links out and you'll see we have some very creative members.

The forum has grown so much that it's impossible for anyone to keep up with all of the posts. I have tried, but it's a very time consuming process. I'm sure there is a point where forums become big, and when that happens the character of the community changes. I think we may be approaching a major change like this soon. I think I'll open some topics in this forum to get a feeling of how people feel about this.

In the past few months we have added many sub-forums, including some for various instruments, DIY topics, composition, and more. This has enhanced the diversity of our discussions and of our membership. I'm sure we will add additional sub-forums in the future, but I think we need to develop some new features to make the site more accessible.

Anyhow. electro-music.com is very special. If you came to electro-music 2005, you know it is more than special; it is transformative. Thanks especially to the volunteer editors and moderators, and to all of the contributors.
