How to use the "run" on the G2 engine with midi surface....

I would like to know if someone know how to use the "run" function (present in the editor) with a midi surface or controller ....
(sorry admin , i forget to tell it was on a G2 !!! )

just send the g2's midi in port an external master clock from somewhere. for instance if you do this in ableton live, when you press the spacebar in live, the run button will light up red in the g2 editor and you are sync'd (give or take your definition of sync'd ).

yes , you're right , i don't know why i want to command this function .......ok i just use an ext sync ....
