Hi iv just got max msp, and its a little confusing compared to some other synth building programs. I want to make a drum sampler nice and simple.
Just load a sample in have it set to trigger from midi and a envolope of just decay and atack.
So do i load up a sfplay or a sffile for this, and how do i get each sample to be triggerd from a different midi note, for example sample 1 triggerd by C5 sample 2 triggerd by C#5 and so on. an then be able to get it to work within rtas for pro tools i have the pluggo set with runtime.

I had a look at the sample play and record tutorials which were no hemp at all, i just want a simple sample player with atack and decay to make a drum sampler to load my own drum samples into.
Im using windows xp if it makes any difference.

Thank you to anyone that can help me here even a screenshot would be awsome thanks again.

have you read MSP Tutorial 20: MIDI Control-Sampler?
you should find it inside the "Documentation" folder
