Hi,

I've just received my new G2 Engine with V1.10, I've played some presets and everything was ok.

Now I've updated it to V1.40 and when I switch on the Engine it always starts playing a demo song. I can still select and play the patches while the song is playing, but I don't know how to stop the demo song. I'll appreciate any help

Regards,

Manuel

I've read some posts about other users having problems when upgrading the Engine with a faulty USB conection, but my USB conection doesn't seem to have a problem. I've upgraded the Engine from another PC and different USB cable with the same result.

My editor is working ok: I can load, edit and play all patches, but the demo song is always there.

By putting a new (maybe empty) performance into location 1 of the first performance bank. As that is the one the engine will start up with, and it will always start in performance mode.

Before it is possible to store anything on the synth the write protection has to be turned off (file / memory protect in the synth settings dialog).
