I'm someone who is very interested in electronic music, but am basically computer retarded, and not very sure where to begin in composing it. My question is basically where do I start? I have a few hundred dollars and alot of time that I want to put into this, but I am confused as to exactly how to go about it. Maybe if someone has a story of how they got started or some advice it would greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I probably shouldve read some more posts since I've seen a few like this kinda, so I jsut want to add that the kind of electronic music I am most interested in is drum and bass, and stuff like Venetian Snares and Aphex Twin, hopefully I would eventually like to make stuff in that same style.
