Been busy building as per usual and just given birth to a new thing that looks quite like a classy make-up box ---> the Drone Machine

And it can do more than just drone.....

Featuring:::
- Audio Input Preamp with vari-decay Envelope Follower
- AD633 Ring Mod
- 3 x VC(LF)O based on the Thomas Henry XR2206 vco - sooo good and when you get three and feed them back into one another whoooahh.!.
- VCF - state variable
-PT2399 digidelay which can go down into super-crunched territories (I love the sounds from pulling this chip down into many second delays - turns into digital noise when you get above 8 seconds delay mmmm)
- voltage inverters
- output mixer

Just trying to figure out Avid Free DV and then'll get some videos up on YouTube....

That looks really fine Bug.
I love those aluminium makeup style cases.
You can find them in so many sizes and shapes these days.
I remember when a basic one from Jaycar was up around $60.
Now you can get them for $25 including the actual product which they contain. (BBQ sets, makeup, hairclippers, etc.)

Hehe yeah this box was actually for CDs - pretty reasonable price at £20 - can fit quite a lot inside and its nice and deep so quite large boards would fit inside.

One thing I've got planned is to use more of these cases to hold the other modules I've been doing -- the cases could hold 7 width of frakrak panels plus a bare area at the top or bottom that could have standard utilities such as audio input / output / inverters etc within... Would make for a very portable system, especially if you make some big external power supply that feeds all of them. One for sequencing, one for processing, one for synth, etc etc.. mmmm!

Ok, so I got somewhere with Avid and now have one video up -- 8 minutes playing with the oscillators and etc.. Sound quality seems ok I think?? I hope its worked out properly 'cos its the first learning of editting with Avid and then the first thing I've put on YouTube.. So let me know if something is wrong cheers!
