pin "2" is the one in the middle, pins "1" and "3" are the two "ONs".
mounting the switch be aware, that if you put the nipple down the connection is made to the upper pin and if you switch up the connection is made to the lower pin...

cheers,drunken

oops, wasn't aware that this question was SL related. ray doesn't seem to follow the conventions seen in other schematic drawing software. he obviously designates the leg in the middle as "1" (which seems to make sense in a way).
i never took a look that close on the schematics, i just wired my SL according to the wiring diagrams! sorry for that confusion.

cheers,drunken

if you take a look at various datasheets for SPDT switches you will see, that the legs are numbered from "1" to "3" with "2" being the middle one. that's the reason for my first anwer. looking at ray's schematics i have to say that he numbers the leg in the middle as "1" instead! confusion, heh? anyway, take a look at a datasheet for a SPDTs. it will show you how it's mechanics work and a look at the wiring diagrams says it all...

good luck and sorry for that inconvenience again. don't forget to let us know how you get along with yout SL

cheers,drunken
