 |
|
damn it....it's not working.
switches are making this strange "clop" noises every time i turn them on...
for a moment there was something like a pulse in a regular beat so i tried the VCF and it was working ok. But sudly the pulse stoped.
plus there was this static noise, similar to a hanging jack....
any sugestion?
oh....i made my self the pcb board...but i think that thers no misstakes on it.
thanks, ruben. |

I'd start by trying some new batteries. _________________ What makes a space ours, is what we put there, and what we do there. |

there are some progress!
White noise is working.
AR is working
Lfo i guess it's not workig as it should
and the filter is perfect.
the Vco's are kind of strange...the frequency pot it's controling the white noise, but they are not making any sound at all.
and there's still some "clop" noises whene i turn on the switches....but i guess it's just some ground problems.
any ideia? |

If the frquency pots are controlling the noise then it's definately a wiring fault. Re-check all the panel to PCB connections. I'd say most of the mistakes on a SoundLab would be these connections. I had a mistake on mine which I didn't even realise for a couple of months! _________________ What makes a space ours, is what we put there, and what we do there. |

yeah, for me it sounds like a wiring related issue.
did you triple check the wiring after all that rewiring of the switches?
the next step would be to check the signals at the significant points: consult rays article about troubleshooting circuits and the troubleshooting guide for the SL if you not already did...
good luck... _________________
